Limerick is where we're based and where most of our work happens. From the city suburbs to the towns and farms of the county, we look after trees for homeowners, landlords, businesses, schools and local authorities. Because we're local, we can usually get out to price a job quickly and fit the work in around you.

Tree care in Limerick: what we see most
Many of Limerick's older residential roads, particularly around the North Circular Road, Ennis Road and the Ballinacurra and Corbally areas, have large, mature trees that were planted long before today's extensions, driveways and cables. These trees often need careful crown reductions or deadwooding rather than removal, so they can stay safe without losing their character.
Newer estates have a different problem. Fast-growing conifers and leylandii planted as quick screens 20 or 30 years ago are now far taller than intended. And across the county, ash dieback and Atlantic storms such as Storm Éowyn in January 2025 have left many damaged or weakened trees along roads, field boundaries and gardens.
Limerick City and County Council is the planning authority for the whole county. If your tree might be covered by a Tree Preservation Order, sits in an Architectural Conservation Area or is protected by a planning condition, we'll flag it so you can check with the council before work begins.
